This section of the website provides information on a number of the important tools that I have personally used. I have not included participating in groups, EIs, nor the use of dyads, which I presume as an EI Master you are already using.
I am aware that everyone has their own preferences and aptitudes for different tools, I doubt that you’ll get on with all the particular set that have suited me. Where one of my tools really doesn’t suit you, aim to find another that explores a similar aspect of your psyche or personal awareness. In my experience the more tools and processes you have the better.
Here is a summary of the tools and processes described here;
Criticalness exercise This is a simple and well known process, but rarely used consistently. It is an excellent everyday tool for uncovering aspects of your unconscious.
Immunity to Change. This process was developed by Robert Kegan, the father of adult development. It is a logical 5-step process that takes about 30 minutes and will help you understand why you are having difficulty making a specific change in your life.
Inner Guide Meditation. This is one of several processes that can be used to understand and integrate different aspects, or sub-personalities, of yourself.
Gestalt Style Negotiation. This is another process that can be used to understand and integrate different aspects or sub-personalities. It is particularly useful when there are conflicts between multiple parts of yourself.
Wise Man Fantasy. This is a fantasy that I used to access a source of wisdom for all the years of my personal growth. It is simple and can work for everyone; but it does not suit everyone.
The Conscious use of drugs. This describes the way in which mind altering drugs can be used to increase your self-awareness. It also summarises the main uses of a number of such drugs.
Making Changes. Many of the tools above will help you discover an unconscious influence on your life. But they will not provide instructions on how to change this. That is the content of this section.
